Fernando Miranda Banda died in a hit-and-run crash at Williams Road and Laurel Drive. Banda was transported to a hospital, where he passed away. The driver, Fredy Medina Meza, was arrested at his home near Closter Park. Authorities say he was found to be over four times the legal limit and had a previous DUI arrest. He faces four felony charges, including hit and run causing death, murder and DUI causing bodily injury.
