Tragic accident that occurred on December 31 in Lomita, California. Elias Johnson lost his life when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver along Western Avenue near 247th Place. The driver fled from the scene. LAPD is urging witnesses or those with information to contact the department. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
