Dayana Hernandez Killed In Osprey, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on July 11 in Osprey, Florida. Dayana Hernandez was struck and killed by a Sarasota County deputy as she rode her bicycle home from a Walmart job. She was fatally struck by the deputy while crossing U.S. Highway 41 at Bay Street. Hernandez’s friends and family are devastated. A GoFundMe page has been launched to help her family. The FHP continues to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
