Danny Cooper Killed In Plainfield, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 9 in Plainfield, Illinois. Danny Cooper died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver along the 2100 block of Plainfield Road. The driver fled from the scene without rendering aid. Police believe the suspect vehicle to be a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee missing a fog light and part of its grill. Witnesses are urged to contact Investigator Joel Steen at 815-741-5111. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the  victim.
