Corey Spear Injured In Franklin, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 1 in Franklin, Iowa. Corey Spear was injured when his motorcycle collided with a golf cart along U.S. Highway 65. A 2007 Columbia Golf Cart, driven by an 84-year-old Hampton man failed to yield the right-of-way as he began to cross east to west and was struck by a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The motorcyclist, Corey William Spear was taken to Franklin General with unspecified injuries. State police are leading an investigation into the crash.
