Corey Jarrells Killed In Fulton, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on January 18 in Fulton, Georgia. Corey Jarrells tragically lost his life when he was struck by an alleged drunken driver along Valentine Drive. Carl Gilmore was driving a 2021 Dodge Challenger on Campbellton Road when he made an improper lane change and collided with a 2020 Kia Optima. The driver continued without stopping, driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car and struck Corey. Jarrells died at the scene. Gilmore reportedly continued driving until he hit a utility pole and fence, causing the car to overturn onto its side. He fled from the scene on foot but was arrested shortly afterward by Atlanta Police. Gilmour was booked into the Fulton County Jail on Jan. 18 on suspicion of homicide by vehicle; driving under the influence; hit-and-run, and reckless driving. A fundraiser was set up to help Jarrells' family with funeral costs. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
