Colten Stewart Killed In Olney, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on July 14 in Olney, Illinois. Colten Stewart lost his life in a motor vehicle accident along U.S. Highway 50. A box truck, a semi-truck with a trailer, and a Chevrolet pickup truck were all traveling eastbound near the entrance of a construction zone, where the vehicles were stopped by workers using handheld stop signs. Officials said the semi-truck driver failed to notice the stopped traffic and, as a result, slammed into the back of the pickup truck, pushing it into the box truck. The pickup then became engulfed in flames. The pickup driver and his passenger, Colten H. Stewart, died at the scene due to injuries sustained in the wreck.
