Cierra Bergins Killed In Carteret, NC Accident

Hit and run along Tootle Road

Tragic accident that occurred on April 20 in Carteret, North Carolina. Cierra Bergins lost her life after being struck by a hit-and-run driver along Tootle Road. The driver immediately fled from the scene. Bergins suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Novant Hospital in Wilmington. Authorities said on Saturday that she succumbed to injuries. Witnesses are urged to contact the highway patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
