Suspected Drunk Driving Leads to Electric Bicycle Rider’s Death

A tragic accident occurred on May 18 in San Benito, California, when 36-year-old Christina Almada was arrested for causing a fatal collision with an electric bicycle rider. Around 9:37 p.m., Almada, driving a black SUV, collided with the cyclist, who died at the scene. Almada was found intoxicated and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on $100,000 bail. Authorities continue to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
