Tragic accident that occurred on February 9 in Waynesboro, Georgia. Charlie Lane faces multiple charges in connection with a traffic collision that left four members of a family injured on Sixth Street near Liberty Street. Investigators determined the victims were walking on the crosswalk after it turned white, indicating safe crossing, when they were struck by a vehicle turning left onto State Route 121. The driver reportedly failed to yield to the pedestrians, struck them, and fled the scene, GSP said. Charlie Lane was identified as the driver who struck the victims.
