Becky Hayes Cited In W. Frankfort, IL Accident

Crash at S. Van Buren and E. Summers Streets

Tragic accident that occurred on July 24 in W. Frankfort, Illinois. Becky Hayes was cited in connection with a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash at S. Van Buren and E. Summers streets. Hayes was cited for disobeying a stop sign, failure to yield-stop or yield intersection, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. A young girl was struck and was transported to a Carbondale hospital and later airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis. Her exact condition was not immediately clear.
