Alfonso Parra was tragically struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver as he crossed Mannheim Road on his way to work. Parra was transported to Gottlieb Memorial Hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation and the Melrose Park Police Department is actively pursuing the hit-and-run driver.
