Alexis Leon Charged In Bakersfield, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 21st in Bakersfield, California. Alexis Leon faces manslaughter charges after a fatal pedestrian crash in the 1300 block of Berkshire Road. Leon, who hit the victim, fled from the scene but later returned. She was determined by officers to be under the influence and was arrested for felony violations including vehicular manslaughter. Police said speed also played a role in the collision. The crash remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
