Suspect crashed during police chase on Capital Boulevard

A tragic accident occurred on July 18 in Olympia, Washington, when Adfin Elias, 18, crashed a stolen vehicle while fleeing from police. The incident happened near Capital Boulevard and Tumwater Boulevard. Elias struck two vehicles, critically injuring a 69-year-old man. He was arrested at the scene for DUI and fleeing. The vehicle had been carjacked earlier in Tukwila. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims of the crash.
