Adam Opal Injured In Harrison, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 18 in Harrison, Iowa.  Adam Opal was injured in a collision with three motorcycles and a tractor-trailer on Iowa Highway 127. The Kenworth vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and ran a stop sign, overturning onto its side and striking a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A 2004 Yamaha motorcycle avoided contact with the truck, but he and his passenger were ejected from the bike. A helicopter airlifted the occupants of the Yamaha motorcycle to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. One of them was identified as 38-year-old Adam Opal. State police continue to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
