A tragic accident occurred on August 25 in Cleburne, Texas, when 92-year-old Mattie Wickham was struck by a vehicle backing out of a garage in the 500 block of Phillips Street. The incident happened at about 2:50 p.m. Wickham was flown to a nearby hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries. The Cleburne Police Department confirmed the details, and the case remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
