88-Year-Old Patricia Garner Killed in Murrieta, CA Accident

Pickup driver booked on DUI and manslaughter charges

A tragic accident occurred on August 7 in Murrieta, California, when 88-year-old Patricia Garner was fatally injured in a crash at California Oaks Road and Skyview Ridge. Around 4:35 p.m., a pickup truck driver ran a red light and struck her sedan. Garner was taken to a hospital, where she died. The 39-year-old driver was booked on DUI, gross vehicular manslaughter, and child endangerment. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
