87-Year-Old Harold Rash Injured In Athens, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 27 in Athens, Texas. 87-year-old Harold Ray Rash was injured in a motor vehicle accident along State Highway 19 when a Chrysler Sebring lost control and veered into the westbound lane. The Chrysler then struck a Lincoln driven by Harold Ray Rash. Officials said the Chrysler driver died in the accident. Rash was transported to UT Health. An investigation into the accident is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
