A tragic accident occurred on June 3 in Watsonville, California, when 84-year-old Michelle Pulido was injured after being struck by an electric bike. The incident happened around 10:45 a.m. on a pedestrian path along the Salsipuedes Creek levee. The male rider, described as in his 60s and wearing a red and white checkered shirt, fled the scene heading eastbound. Witnesses assisted Pulido and helped direct first responders.
