84-Year-Old Joyce Piatt Involved In Smyrna, GA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, May 14th in Smyrna, Georgia. 84-year-old Joyce Ann Piatt was driving a Honda CR-V on Cooper Lake Road when she  sadly struck and killed a man in a wheelchair. Ms. Piatt was eastbound approaching Berryhill Creek when she struck the man. The unidentified man tragically was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are asking anyone with information to call 770-499-3987. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
