Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 80 Near Gold Run

A tragic accident occurred on September 24 in Placer County, California, when 78-year-old Leonidas Castro was killed in a motorcycle crash. Around the afternoon, Castro’s motorcycle was involved in a collision with another motorcycle and a vehicle in a construction zone on eastbound Interstate 80 near Crystal Springs Road. He was ejected and died at the scene. No other injuries were reported. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family.
