77-Year-Old Timothy Knighton Killed in Newton, TX Accident

Head-on collision on County Road 4002; pickup driver uninjured

A tragic accident occurred on February 15 in Newton, Texas, when 77-year-old Timothy Knighton of Newton was killed after a northbound Dodge pickup truck crossed into the southbound lane and struck his Lexus SUV head-on along County Road 4002 near Private Road 8002 just after 7:30 a.m. The pickup driver, a 40-year-old woman, was not severely injured. Authorities continue to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
