76-Year-Old Jose Andres Aguilar Killed in Fabens, TX Accident

A tragic accident occurred on March 14 in Fabens, Texas, when 76-year-old Jose Andres Aguilar was struck and killed by a train near E. Main Street and N.E. Fourth Street shortly after 12:30 p.m. Authorities said railroad personnel attempted to stop the locomotive before the collision. Aguilar was pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected.
