75-Year-Old James Befort Killed In Birmingham, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 4th in Birmingham, Alabama. 75-year-old James Befort tragically died three days after a multi-vehicle crash at Oporto Madrid Boulevard at First Avenue. The victim was transported to UAB Hospital where he succumbed at 12:30 a.m. on Monday. No additional details of the crash were immediately available. The crash remains under investigation by Birmingham police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
