73-Year-Old Manuel Rodrigues Killed In New Haven, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 7th in New Haven, Connecticut. 73-year-old Manuel Rodrigues was killed in a crash that involved two vehicles. Preliminary info is that the cars — a Ford van and a Honda — were involved in the collision at the intersection of Chapel Street and Central Avenue.Rodrigues who was driving the Honda, and the second motorist were brought to the Yale New Haven Hospital for further treatment. Sadly, Rodrigues succumbed to his injuries. Anyone with additional information about what happened was urged to contact the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division at 203-946-6304. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
