72-Year-Old Norman Lynch Arrested in Sherman, TX Accident

Teen Struck on South Dewey Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on November 9 in Sherman, Texas, when a teenager was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck driven by 72-year-old Norman Lynch at the 700 block of South Dewey Avenue around 2:53 p.m. Lynch fled the scene but was later arrested for multiple charges, including DUI and intoxication assault. The teen was hospitalized for treatment. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
