72-Year-Old Kate Autry Dies in Conroe, TX Accident

Struck by pickup truck while walking in marked crosswalk

A tragic accident occurred on February 17 in Conroe when 72-year-old Kate Autry was fatally struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of Grand Village Boulevard and Town Park Drive. Autry was walking eastbound within a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
