72-Year-Old Cuong Van Tran Killed in Beaumont, TX Accident

A tragic hit-and-run accident occurred on May 24 in Beaumont, Texas, when 72-year-old Cuong Van Tran was struck while riding his bicycle on Avenue C at about 5:52 p.m. A dark-colored sedan hit Tran and fled the scene heading south. Tran was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities are actively searching for the driver.
