71-Year-Old Romeo Della Valle Killed In Delray Beach, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 11 in Delray Beach, Florida.  71-year-old Romeo Della Valle died when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver along SW 10th Avenue in the 1300 block. He was dragged onto the grass before the driver fled from the scene. Della Valle succumbed to injuries from the crash. Delray Beach police are searching for the suspect vehicle which they said is a dark cherry or dark-colored 2013 to 2016 Chevrolet Malibu with significant damage to its front end. Witnesses are asked to contact the department. We send our thoughts and prayers to  the family of the victim.
