71-Year-Old Richard Hattan Injured in Rosalia WA, Accident

Suspected drunk driver ran stop sign, fled scene

A tragic accident occurred on April 26 near Rosalia, Washington, when 71-year-old Richard Hattan was injured in a crash caused by a suspected drunk driver. Authorities said the incident took place around 8:45 p.m. along State Route 195, when a Ford F350 failed to stop at a sign on Ralph Henning Road and struck Hattan’s Chevy Silverado. Hattan was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center with injuries. The Ford’s driver fled but was later arrested for DUI, hit-and-run, and vehicular assault. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
