Tragic accident that occurred on September 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 7-year-old Penelope Thompson tragically lost her life after being hit by a car in front of her home while riding a bicycle on S. Second Avenue. She was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where she succumbed to injuries. The 39-year-old man driving the SUV remained at the scene after attempting to render aid to the girl. The accident remains under investigation by Minneapolis police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
