69-Year-Old Williams Watts Injured In Amenia, NY Accident

Two vehicle wreck on S. Amelia Road

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, September 5th at around 5:15 PM in Amenia, New York. 69-year-old William Watts was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident on S. Amelia Road. Watts was operating a Dodge Ram southbound when a Ford Explorer, driven by 31-year-old Felix Santiago, crossed over the center line and struck the victim's vehicle head on. Watts was transported to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries. Authorities reported that initial investigations suggested unsafe speeds to be a contributing factor.
