A tragic accident occurred on June 8 in Corpus Christi, Texas, when 69-year-old Aurelio Marquez was fatally struck while crossing Staples Street near Catalina Place. The incident happened around 9 p.m. Emergency responders transported Marquez to a nearby hospital, where he sadly passed away from his injuries. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. An investigation into the accident is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
