68-Year-Old Sue Eickenhorst Injured In Lufkin, TX Accident

Ambulance crashes on Highway 69

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, December 23rd at around 1:20 AM in Lufkin, Texas. 68-year-old Sue Eickenhorst was seriously injured when the ambulance she was a patient in was involved in a crash on Highway 69. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, an ambulance driven by 30-year-old Joshua Zaborowski, was traveling north when he traveled into the southbound lane and struck a Chevrolet SUV. As a result of the collision, the ambulance went off the road and overturned. Eickenhorst was taken to a Lufkin hospital for treatment of her injuries.
