67-Year-Old Luis Trujillo Killed In Islip, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 25th in Islip, New York.  67-year-old Luis Trujillo was one of two victims run down by an intoxicated, underage driver on Union Boulevard between Saxon Avenue and Grant Avenue on Christmas day. According to Suffolk County Police, a Honda Pilot left the roadway opposite the High School striking Trujillo, who was declared dead on the scene. The driver was taken into custody by authorities and charged with driving while intoxicated.
