66-Year-Old Alvaro Gamboa Killed In S. Elmonte, CA Accident

 Tragic accident that occurred on January 20th in South Elmonte, California. 66-year-old  Alvaro Gamboa was tragically killed after being intentionally struck by a driver who fled the scene after the incident. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Gamboa, was involved in an altercation with a woman at about 11:10 p.m. in the parking lot of a business center in the 9600 block of Garvey Avenue. Authorities said that the woman, believed to be in her 30s, got into a vehicle, made a U-turn, and intentionally struck Gamboa and a deputy. Sadly, Gamboa was pronounced dead at the scene. The deputy suffered life-threatening injuries.
