Driver flees after fatal crash on U.S. 12

A tragic accident occurred on March 13 in Packwood, Washington, when 66-year-old Alan Sargent of Puyallup was struck and killed by a vehicle on U.S. 12 at Skate Creek Road South around 7:37 a.m. Authorities said the driver fled the scene after the collision. The suspect and vehicle remain unidentified as the investigation continues.We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
