65-year old Bobby Wayne Carr Killed in Austin, TX Accident

Struck on South Congress Avenue, Died Weeks Later

A tragic accident occurred on May 20 in Austin, Texas, when Bobby Wayne Carr was struck while riding his bicycle on South Congress Avenue. The crash happened around 11:44 p.m. when an unknown driver hit Carr and fled the scene without rendering aid. Carr was transported to a local hospital and remained under care until he tragically died from his injuries on June 9. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
