A tragic accident occurred on September 9 in Lake Isabella, California, when 65-year-old Ronald Stewart Nevius Jr. was struck by a vehicle on Young Avenue, west of Lake Isabella Boulevard. The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Nevius was rushed to Kern Valley Health District Hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident.
