65-Year-Old Richard William Killed In Holly Springs, NC Accident

Head on collision along Piney Grove Wilbon Rd.

Tragic accident that occurred on February 25 in Holly Springs, North Carolina. 65-year-old Richard Williams died when the vehicle he was traveling in was struck head-on by an alleged impaired driver along Piney Grove Wilbon Road. The wreck occurred when a southbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck crossed the dividing line and struck the Camaro head-on. After impact, both vehicles overturned before coming to a rest. Sadly, Williams died from injuries he sustained in the wreck. The driver of the pickup, 29-year-old Ethan Mendoza-Cervante, was arrested and charged with DWI, felony death by vehicle, reckless driving and expired registration.
