64-Year-Old Robert Castillo Ramos Killed in Midland, TX Accident

Driver arrested following pedestrian crash

A tragic accident occurred on November 03 in Midland, Texas, when 64-year-old Robert Castillo Ramos was struck by a Ram 1500 pickup truck while walking on the 4800 block of West Illinois Avenue at about 1:47 a.m. Ramos was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. The driver, 26-year-old Darren Olvera, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
