64-Year-Old Eddie Kennedy Killed in Odessa, TX Accident

Bicyclist struck from behind on Andrews Highway

A tragic accident occurred on December 19 in Odessa, Texas, when 64-year-old Eddie Kennedy was fatally struck while riding his bicycle. Police said the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. in the 7700 block of Andrews Highway, where a black Chevrolet pickup traveling southbound hit Kennedy from behind. He was transported to Medical Center Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
