63-Year-Old Cynthia Clay Killed in Bakersfield, CA Accident

Passenger dies in Highway 99 rollover crash

A tragic accident occurred on September 2 in Bakersfield, California, when 63-year-old Cynthia Denise Clay of Corcoran was killed in a single-vehicle crash. Authorities said a 64-year-old man driving a 2000 Honda Accord northbound on Highway 99 near Davis Road fell asleep at the wheel around 3:10 a.m. The car left the roadway, struck a dirt berm, and overturned. Clay died at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
