61-Year-Old Richard Bennett Killed In Montgomery, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, June 18, in Montgomery, Alabama. 61-year-old Richard Bennett was tragically killed when his tractor trailer was struck by another tractor trailer on Highway 231. 58-year-old David Carpenter was operating a Kenworth tractor trailer when he traveled off the roadway, crossing the center median, and colliding head on with another Freightliner. Mr. Bennett, the operator of the second freightliner was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
