61-Year-Old Celeste Necochea Killed in San Diego, CA Accident

Victim in deadly hit-and-run crash

A tragic accident occurred on August 30 in San Diego, California, when 61-year-old Celeste Necochea was killed in a hit-and-run crash near the 100 block of Sea World Drive. Around 12:30 a.m., officers found Necochea unconscious among damaged trees and shrubbery. She died from multiple blunt force injuries. Police said two vehicles were involved, but the suspect fled. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
