Pedestrian struck by dump truck on North Seguin Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on Feb. 23 in New Braunfels, when 60-year-old Stephanie Madzy was killed while crossing the 200 block of North Seguin Avenue. Authorities said a dump truck failed to yield and struck Madzy, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was arrested on a charge of criminally negligent homicide.
