59-Year-Old Milagro Nieto-Campos Killed In Colton, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 5th in Colton, California. 59-year-old Milagro Nieto-Campos lost her life when the vehicle she was in was struck by an alleged drunken driver along the 10 Freeway. According to an initial investigation from the California Highway Patrol, the victim was sitting in a stopped Nissan Sentra on the shoulder, when a Toyota Camry moved to the right and slammed into the Nissan. The impact caused the Nissan to overturn and tumble down an embankment. Both occupants of the Nissan succumbed to injuries and were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver of the Toyota was believed by officers to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested. The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
