59-Year-Old Mary Nienow Killed In Slater, IA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday July 3rd, in Slater, Iowa. 59-year-old Mary Nienow was tragically killed when she was struck by a 75-year-old woman backing out of a driveway after a July 4th parade.  According to the Iowa State Patrol, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Tama streets.
