A tragic accident occurred on May 1 in Bee County, Texas, when 58-year-old Margaret Ward was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on U.S. 59. Authorities said a pickup truck lost control on wet pavement and crossed into oncoming traffic, striking a transit bus. Ward, a passenger in the truck, died at the scene.
