57-Year-Old Carlos Mendez Killed in Arlington, TX Accident

Struck by SUV on Kelly Elliott Road

A tragic accident occurred on October 27 in Arlington, Texas, when 57-year-old Carlos Mendez was struck by an SUV around 7 a.m. in a crosswalk on the 5900 block of Kelly Elliott Road. Mendez was transported to a hospital with critical injuries and died on November 7. The SUV driver stopped and cooperated with investigators. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
